 Sing and Rejoice with New Songs

Now is the time to get your singing and praising ON! God wants us in fellowship together to sing worship songs to Him. He tells us in His word that everything worships Him. He is our Creator and our Deliverer and worthy is He to be sung praises to. Sometimes we forget to actively worship Him through singing. Whether it be in the shower, or making breakfast or even in our car, we should turn up the music and sing loudly! I love to turn up K-Love radio in my car and sing as best I can while playing air drums on my steering wheel. What do you do? If you play an instrument, God wants you to learn how to play worship songs so He can hear you shouting for joy. Are you allowing things to get in the way of your worship time? Don't be shy about it--it blesses the Lord.
If the stars can come together to sing, you can too. Commit to singing and you will be blessed by praising the One who created you; indeed, the one who brings light to the darkness.
"Sing to him a new song; play skillfully and shout for joy."—Psalm 33:3
"When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" —Job 38:7


PRAYER
Lord, thank you for the reminder to sing praises to you. You love when your creation rejoices and shouts for joy! I may not be able to play an instrument, but I can strum to the beat. I may not be able to carry a tune, but my efforts still please you. Lord, thank you for reminding me that I do not have to be perfect to worship by singing to you. I will carry a tune in my heart and mind today and will sing and shout with joy whenever and wherever I can. Help me to not be shy about it. Bring new songs to me to sing! I will carry my voice and sing until the Holy Spirit sends chills throughout. I know you love a good worship jam! In your mighty name, Amen.

Exceeding Love We cannot comprehend it. This kind of unconditional love. The outpouring from a Savior who would give anything for us--longing to have relationship with you and I. No man or woman walking this Earth can compare or even come close to loving you the way that Jesus does. No one. Today, dig deep inside to fill the hurt, anger, pain, upset, anxiousness, worry or disappointment with the One True God. His love is exceeding--His love is healing.
