DAY FIVE: PEACE

"Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." --Philippians 4:7

God desires us to be in complete peace with the understanding of His promises for us. If only we choose to push past any doubt of fear and step into the fullness of the scripture, we can live a life of complete peace. It sounds beautiful, doesn't it? Well it is exactly what He wants for us. God wants us to Rise and Shine each day thriving in the blessings that await each day, with a resounding peace in our hearts, minds, bodies and souls. Rest assured, Jesus is returning. We all get to the finish line, one way or the other, so why not commit yourself to living in peace...

DEFINITION

Peace is freedom from disturbance; tranquility or quiet, law and order. the absence of disturbance or civil unrest. stress-free state of security and calmness that comes when there's no fighting or war, everything coexisting in perfect harmony and freedom.

Biblical peace is more than just the absence of conflict or state of rest. It means completeness or wholeness, and it points to the presence of something else--living with the Holy Spirit. 

Synonyms are tranquility, calmness, restfulness, blissfulness.

THE TASK TODAY: God wants us to practice living in a state of pure bliss. No matter what is happening around us, oftentimes these are things that we cannot control or change. Spend some time in prayer and ask God for the calming peace that only He can provide to you. Enjoy His presence which resides inside you as the living Holy Spirit. Each day is a brand new gift--let's not store these in Heaven, but use them for their purpose to help live out our lives on Earth, walking with Jesus Christ and experiencing the peace He brings to us while we are here.

Exceeding Love We cannot comprehend it. This kind of unconditional love. The outpouring from a Savior who would give anything for us--longing to have relationship with you and I. No man or woman walking this Earth can compare or even come close to loving you the way that Jesus does. No one. Today, dig deep inside to fill the hurt, anger, pain, upset, anxiousness, worry or disappointment with the One True God. His love is exceeding--His love is healing. Allow yourself to be filled to measure--what does that mean exactly? Well, in my mind, it means to the tippy top!!!! He loves you that much.
