Encourage One Another

The power of friendships can eradicate hatred, jealousy, strife and many other negative things that we as humans can develop with one another. We have the ability to be a positive driving force in another's life. This group exhibits these traits of being positive, inspiring and most of all, encouraging to others. When your friends need you the most, are you there for them? Do your words encourage and lift their spirits when they are feeling down? Gossip and ill talk are so infectious. Although it is unseen, the damage strikes not only the person being talked about poorly, but it also seems to reflect on you, while you’re saying all those bad things about the other person, wouldn’t you say?
Lift them up. Pour over them a positive word. Help them regain their footing when their path is uneven.
What you say to others can make all the difference. Keep doing what you are already and leave them a little better than before.
"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing."--1 Thessalonians 5:11


PRAYER

Lord, thank you for your word, for it is always good to my ears. My heart sings joyfully whenever you provide pleasing instruction. I will continue to lift up my friends and make it better for them in any way I can. Today is a good day to reach out to others to see how I might encourage them. We can all use a little more lifting up! Good friendships last when we can do that for one another and I thank you for the friendships in my life. I look forward to meeting new friends as well. Bring to me those you want me to have a true connection with. I am ready to be a bright light of encouragement. In Jesus name, Amen.

Exceeding Love We cannot comprehend it. This kind of unconditional love. The outpouring from a Savior who would give anything for us--longing to have relationship with you and I. No man or woman walking this Earth can compare or even come close to loving you the way that Jesus does. No one. Today, dig deep inside to fill the hurt, anger, pain, upset, anxiousness, worry or disappointment with the One True God. His love is exceeding--His love is healing. Allow yourself to be filled to measure--what does that mean exactly? Well, in my mind, it means to the tippy top!!!! He loves you that much.
