We are Glad

Do you ever sit in amazement at all the ways the Lord has taken care of you? The act of being grateful allows us to see these full and clear. We will not lack gladness if we are perpetually recounting the good and merciful works of the Lord in our lives. Take a moment today and make a list of what God has done for you. We simply cannot be mad or sad, if we choose to be glad. Problems can become opportunities. There is a silver lining, if only we take the time to see it.
Being glad is a way of rejoicing God.
"The Lord has done great things for us, we are glad."-Psalm 126:3


PRAYER

Lord, thank you for all the ways you are good to and for me. I will choose to rejoice you, even in my storms and dry seasons. I would rather have my mouth filled with laughter and my tongue singing shouts of praise and joy for you, than sulk in my problems. Thank you for giving me a heart filled with gladness. I will rejoice and be glad in You! In Jesus name, Amen.

Exceeding Love We cannot comprehend it. This kind of unconditional love. The outpouring from a Savior who would give anything for us--longing to have relationship with you and I. No man or woman walking this Earth can compare or even come close to loving you the way that Jesus does. No one. Today, dig deep inside to fill the hurt, anger, pain, upset, anxiousness, worry or disappointment with the One True God. His love is exceeding--His love is healing.
