Spirit of Water poured Out
Spirit of Water poured Out
God uses many words, in so many ways to share what He can do for all who follow Him. The analogy of water is helpful for us because we know the human condition of being thirsty. It's no fun to be dry mouthed, dehydrated or parched, but that's what we are when we aren't following Him. It can be desperate measures because we know that without water, it is certain death. God shows us how thirsty we truly are when we are not in fellowship with Him. We can be dry and parched, desperate to find the solution to our human need. Search No More! The bible gives us several of God's many promises right here in Isaiah chapter 44, verse 3 of being the answer to our plightful condition of searching for what will quench our longing thirst. And he doubles down with a second promise to bless our children with the Holy Spirit! But wait, there's more! He also promises to bless our grandchildren and family lineage! What a mighty God we serve!
Are you in line to receive God's blessings for you and your family?
“For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.”— Isaiah 44:3
PRAYER
Lord, thank you for your abundant, overflowing Spirit of love and belonging onto your children. Oh, what a blessing indeed to hear your words loud and clear. Thank you for satisfying my thirst. I simply cannot get enough of You. Allow your rivers and streams to continually flow through me. My time out in nature alongside this stream brings such a fresh perspective to your Word. Thank you for your promises over my life and my family line. I am forever grateful to you. In your mighty name, Amen.
We are better together.
Have a blessed day, Kimala
