Prince of Peace

KIMALA'S CORNER

Prince of Peace

When we sit still for a moment and reflect on the precious gift of Jesus Christ, given to us by our Father, oh my, I don't know about you, but my soul dances. Jesus came as man, handed over to us by our Lord God, and He made a way for us to be eternally together when there was no way. Jesus oh Jesus, you are Mighty indeed! We must always remember who is in charge and it isn't us!
Jesus is called Wonderful Counselor because His wisdom supercedes anything we could muster up or consider. He is Mighty God because all things come from Him through the Trinity--Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Source of life! We would be nothing without Him. He is the Everlasting Father because He isn't going anywhere! He is consistant, always available to us, forever seated at the right hand of God the Father's majestic throne in the heavenly realms, and awaits our arrival. While others may not be able to sustain relationships with us, Jesus is always with us and there for us, forever... He supercedes to God the Father on our behalf. While others may walk away, Jesus is always on our side. He is the Prince of Peace and the source of our serenity in Him. When troubles come, and they will while we live on this earth, He calms troubled waters and restores us to new. He makes beauty from ashes, by the very things that try to tear us down. Jesus is the way to a content heart, no matter what we are going through.
Praise you Lord for such a gift!
Although we are not worthy to receive such as this, only say the word and we will be healed from our trangressions and ailments as we walk along the path you set before us. We worship you.
Today, accept the gift of Jesus. Take a moment to reflect on what God has given you. Make each breath count. You are only passing through--on your way to be with our Lord forever. Ask Him: What would you have me do today in your name?
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. "--Isaiah 9:6

We are better together.
Have a blessed day, Kimala DeSena
